Esentaye is a sacred Yoruba naming and destiny ceremony that welcomes a child into the world and introduces them to the Earth. Through prayers, blessings, and Ifa divination, guidance is sought regarding the child’s purpose, strengths, challenges, and spiritual path. The ceremony honors ancestry, family, and community while asking for health, protection, wisdom, prosperity, and long life. More than a naming ceremony, Esentaye provides parents with valuable spiritual insight and creates a meaningful foundation for the child’s future. It is a beautiful celebration of life, destiny, and the blessings of Ifa and the Orisa.
Cancellation Policy
Baby must be within 72 hours of it birth to commence with this ceremony. Anything beyond 72 hours is no longer considered an Esentaye and we will move forward to a different type of ceremony which may cause price to vary. Also, this price does not include the mandatory ebo which must follow the ceremony. The price of the ebo is determined by the necessary materials revealed during the Esentaye.
